2.0.660 Save "potential bugs"

Hi PA:

Thanks for updating to latest PowerApps.

I have just completed my apps day before the apps was updated.

When I save my apps, (local), and after saving several time, with Save As and Replace in my local drive,

and I am very sure it goes to the right name, and when I Ctrl-S and save, without problem.

Now, after updating to 2.0.660, and when I am writing another apps and save as into local drive, and when I save again using Ctrl-S, I found that my previous apps (Above), was replaced with my notice.

After checking, I found that the "Save" shows it retrives, by itself the old file name and replace.

Wow....this is not supposed to happen.

Tonight, I got to redo the Tablet Apps again.

It took me about 8 hours to re-do.

Please check on saving method on PowerApps as it is very annoying and dangerous.

Thank you for reporting this issue.

One question: Are you sayign that you loaded a local app and after making changes you pressed Cntrl+S which instead of updating the local file  - updated the app in the cloud?

Really hard to explain and to reproduce.

Looking at below, the "App name" always pop-up and different from my current apps under development, and even the Icon can be something else from my local computer which was not I loaded before.

I would say this section has triggered some problem.

Anyway, I will be very cautious on this and will report again if this recur.

Today, I can reproduce somethine almost similar. Let's look at the screenshot and you can imagine the strange things.

Though not able to show in sequence, due to random occurance, but I hope this can help PA Team in debugging.

Suspicion:

The temporary cache for the Save and Save As were not being able to capture the previously Save As data and randomly selecting from history - Title and Icon. You may have Defaults name as "App".

My sharing of potential bugs for improvement, NOT COMPLAINT.

NB: It took me appro. 18 hours to redo the apps, with problem, too, on Toggle/Radio, which I also suspect to be bug (in gallery, these two will always Reset to False).

Thanks for the detailed screens. I am trying to repro the issue creating one app, saving it locally and using save-as to create another app. I added a bunch of updates to the second app but at no point did I see the first app contents - app settings/icon/app content surface in the second app. 

Please share the session id if you see this issue again.

The right behaviour on Windows desktops, Save will update only the specific local app or app on the PowerApps service depending where the app was originally saved.

I really appriate the instant investigation and effort to reproduce.

(It happened when working several apps, interchangeably).

Anyhow, once I encountered similar issue again, I will screenshot the session id and share for further check.
