I ask this because I have some outstanding questions regarding Power Automates ability to low code and simple web-scrape.   I am trying to figure out if AI builder even fits into my business goals.

Hi @spmofulton - thanks for the question. AI Builder makes Microsoft AI technology available in the Power Platform in a low-code/no-code way. It includes computer vision, but also document understanding, text analytics and more. As part of AI Builder we do not offer web-scrapping technology. For this, check out Power Automate desktop where you can build automations robots to read data from websites.

Right now there is a bit of a business gap for Power Automate caused by the depreciation of the Selenium IDE Converter connector.  Selenium is used for critical business application needs that make up the backbone of open data websites like https://data.gov/ .  In simpler terms, it's the backbone of Open Government.  Microsoft's decision isn't going to change the business application needs--if anything it would give competitors an advantage especially those in the field of Computer Vision.

I am trying to figure out if this Selenium connector is being depreciated, then what is then Microsoft doing to close that business gap.  I was hoping that I had found it with AI Builder, but I will continue looking.

I work in a UK NHS genetics laboratory. We have embedded XML style control tag fields in "Invisible Ink (white text on a white background)" in our pdf report outputs. I have trained an AI Builder model to pick out these fields but am struggling implementing the model in a flow. The fields will be used to determine an email destination for sending the reports to physicians via email.

I have create an AI Builder model for .pdf file recognition and I am trying to follow the instructions in a guide to use this model.

I get multiple instances of the following error

this operation violates admin data policy 'basic policy' which restricts the use of business connector 'shared_sharepointonline' with non-business connector 'shared_commondataservicesforapps'

Is there any way to stop this error message and test using this flow.

Check your DLP in power platform admin center. one of your connector might be blocked or inside the bucket of “non-business”.

We use AI Builder to extract data from purchase orders. We receive many orders with quite a lot of lines, so a lot of copy/pasting for our team.

An app for extracting data and outputting to our ERP has been implemented accross three of our factories and we've been able to free up an incrdebile amount of time.

We are implementing a similar solution as @AlexMCC above.  Invoices from multiple vendors in slightly different formats, but we want to extract the same basic information from each invoice. We had to make multiple collections of invoices (per vendor) and train the model with all the collections, but it is starting to work. With more than 2,000 invoices, this will definitely save time and effort.

I have started using both the prebuilt invoice processing as well as my own invoice AI model.  I use the two because we require additional information from the invoice thats not contained in the prebuilt model.

I actually Jumped in here because I am getting a weird situation using the prebuilt where it is juggling the vendor name up - not all the time... just sometimes.  I wanted to understand how I can use the location information to find where on the invoice it is finding the name

Apart from this issue - its a great solution whereby I think with other options within Power Automate is going to greatly reduce time spent on invoicing.
