Hello-
I am new to power automate and this is my first post about the topic to a forum. My apologies if do not phrase the use case correctly. I have a project that i think can be greatly advanced by power automate and ai builder but i am unsure of the feasability in which i presume to use it.
I have hundreds of excel files that have a form template structure on them. I would like to extract data from the fields (cells) within those excel files and save them to an external excel spreadsheet.. Is this possible?
Secondly, i would like to run the process like a batch on all the files. I assume the best options is to have al the files that need process to be saved in a prefetch folder.
I have found information that AI builder can read pdf files and accomplish what i want to do, however, i assume i have to convert my excel files to .pdf to take advantage of the ai builder; or am i over-complicating the process?
Please feel free to post any links to articles or videos that may aid in advancing my project and its undertaking.
Thank you for any direction or advisement going forward
