Can someone help me understand why I get 2 approval emails (one of which doesn't do anything) in MS Flow?
The one in red the one that actually records the approval. The other seems to be a notification of some sort but it has the same approval-type body.
Here are my settings in Flow. when I set Enable Notifications to No, the approval message that I want (and that works) doesn't get sent.
My objective is to stop the unwanted email notification - the first top on in the first graphic above - from being sent. It's confusing to users as it serves no purpose.

Is it possible that there is another Flow with an approval action?
Try a quick test...
Turn off your Flow then do what ever starts the Flow (create a new item, etc.). The test is to see of the email still gets sent.
I just changed the name of the Approval Recipient.
The unwanted email arrived in my mailbox. I wonder what could be causing that. I don't see what action I'm doing in the Flow to cause that.
Any thoughts on where I should look?
Odd thing. I noticed there is a Notifications connection in my Flow. But I'm not using it anywhere in Flow I've actually constructed.
I deleted the connection with Notifications.
But the unwanted message keeps coming back and the Notifications connection reappears.
Why is this happening?
