502 Bad Gateway on Update Item on Sharepoint list

Hi, guys!

I'm trying to build Flow that copies existed Folder to another location.

But all I've got is 502 error (or 400 error if I remove the dash symbol in Folder to Copy before Id)

Any ideas what is the reason?

Re: 502 Bad Gateway on Update Item on Sharepoint list

Hi @Michael_miracle,

When using the action Copy folder, in the Folder to copy field, we are asked to specify a folder.

Without using the dynamic content ID, flow won’t know which folder is going to copy.

I have made the following test and it works fine.

More details about connector SharePoint at here:

Best regards,

Mabel

Re: 502 Bad Gateway on Update Item on Sharepoint list

Hi, @v-yamao-msft!

You're right, we should use absolute URL of the folder, not the folder ID. But I've tried it before using ID and still I hadn't work.

Yesterday I was able to sit tight and work on this issue.

The problem was- the destination folder must exist

And previously I've tried to copy to the folder that didn't exist (cause in Create file action you can create a File into non-existant Folder, SP would create it by itself).

So problem is solved and Flow worked! Thank you!

p.s. actully flow is working, cause after triggering it has been running for 14 hours. As I can see in SP - Flow completed to copy my folder in like 1 minute and now I've got no idea what he is doing. Bitcoin mining mb1.PNG

Re: 502 Bad Gateway on Update Item on Sharepoint list

Hi @v-yamao-msft,

I am hoping for your help here 🙂

I am trying to copy a folder from one site to another using the copy folder action. I also get the Bad Gateway when I run my flow. I am unable to add any dynamic content like you describe. I get: No dynamic content available

And when I try to choose the folder using the folder icon I get different things to choose from, but none of them works always Bad gateway.

I have tried the copy file action and it works, so I have connection between sites.

Thanks in advance 🙂

Re: 502 Bad Gateway on Update Item on Sharepoint list

When creating a flow an flow for an approval when an item is added to SharePoint, I am getting a 500 error (InternalServerError) on the approval part of the flow. How do I fix this for the flow to work? Do I need to down load flow onto my desktop instead of using the app through 365?
