API Operation Does Not Contain a Definition for Parameter

I added a new (numeric) column in my SharePoint list.  My flow recognizes the field for update, but when I save the flow, I receive an error "Flow save failed with code 'WorkflowOperationParametersExtraParameter' and message 'The API operation does not contain a definition for parameter 'Item/####'

I found a couple other posts on this subject, but none seem to help.

I tried adding the column with a new name, recreating the data source, and--according to one post--just waiting for the cache to clear.  But nothing seems to work.  I cannot save my flow if this column is marked for update, which is the main column the flow needs to update..

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Well, the previous post about waiting for the cache to expire was accurate.  I was eventually able to save without making any changes.

However, this took nearly an hour in my case, not the 5 minutes referenced in the other post..
