AX 2012 R2 | SQL -> When an item is created

I try to get a flow working to trigger when a new Project is created in AX 2012 R2

ATM I use a on-premise Gateway and just the Trigger

When an items is created and Send an email

When I test the flow the following is showing

I also found the following

Recently, SQL Server trigger is only supported for SQL Server in Azure. SQL Server trigger is not supported for On-premises SQL Server.

Is my flow oncorrect or is it cause I use an on-premis gateway?

Hi @Anonymous,

Yes, SQL Server trigger is only supported for SQL Server in Azure.

If you are using on-premises SQL Server, it won’t work.

Please check the following blog on triggers in the SQL connector:

More details about connector SQL Server, please check it at here:

Hi, actually I'm using an on-premise Gateway + When an item is created and it is working. The problem was that there was no IDENTITY column in the table. So it seems for me it is working with on-premise and SQL trigger.

Can you help providing some explanation ?

How did you identified if table has an IDENTITY  column and where do you place that information on trigger.

Please share your solution
