Adaptive Cards, submit comment to column i sharepoint list

Hi

Im trying to achive the following.
My current flow sends an email to the user when someone adds a new comment in the "Comments Column"

Now i want to create a Actionable email message, so when the user recives the email from flow the email has a Comment tab where the user can respond and click submit, the data is then sent back to th "Comments Column" in sharepoint and updated.

Have anyone done anything similare?

Im trying to achive so the users dont have to visit the SharePoint lits but can respond directly in the email using a Actionable Message

Re: Actionable Message, submit comment to column i sharepoint list

I've used Adaptive card using Power Automate or MS Flow to collect response from user in Outlook & getting that saved in SharePoint list

Re: Actionable Message, submit comment to column i sharepoint list

Thanks @RezaDorrani i read that before today but my skill level is low. Im trying to understand how i can link the action to store in a certain column in sharepoint when they respond.

I also checked out this: http://johnliu.net/blog/2017/11/sending-custom-actionable-messages-via-flow

I dont understand how i can create a submitt button that stores the data to my "Comments column" on that specific item it gets an email from

Hi @JimmyWork ,

You could filter from all the item in the list and find the one that send the email.

Best regards,

Alice

Re: Actionable Message, submit comment to column i sharepoint list

@v-alzhan-msft Thank you for answering but i do not understand what you mean.

I have a flow that sends a email based on who edited it, the flow is only triggerd when someone edits/adds a new comment to the "Comments column" multi-line text column.

Now i want the email i send out to contain an Adaptive card that contains a Comment section and a submit button, If the user who recived the email fills out the comment section and click submit the data will be sent to the SharePoint "Comments Column"

Re: Actionable Message, submit comment to column i sharepoint list

If i select the ready made approval flow i can use Comments value form approval and update item in list.

This is excatly what i want to do but i want to use my own adaptive card design.

I have played around in https://adaptivecards.io/designer/

But i cant get it to work.

I can create a card use Compose and then Post your own adaptive card as the Flow bot to a channel.

This works fine, but i cant figure out how to post the comments and update the item column i want.

If i use https://amdesigner.azurewebsites.net

Im able to login and everything is set, except i cant use this because the result i always get is a card without a submit button. And i cant figure out how to use it as an email, if i select output from compose as body and html then the email only shows code.

Re: Actionable Message, submit comment to column i sharepoint list

I succeded in using an Actionable Message but not the new adaptive message.

And the way it's sent using http request i dont feel like that is secure enough?

Any one that made something like this using adapative messages?

Re: Actionable Message, submit comment to column i sharepoint list

Seems like creating an adaptive card and updating the comments submitted In it to a Sharepoint column is very difficult. I’ve looked far and wide for a solution too. We’re you able to figure this out? Nobody wants to post to Teams. Approvers just want to post right in the email some comments and move on with their day.
