Add attachment to planner task

I know there are a lot of other posts that have a solution to update the planner task with a reference link...which is great and I'm using this as a workaround. I'd like to attach a document to the task itself without having to use a link to a sharepoint attachment or path to a shared drive. Adding attachments to a task is possible in the application, so it should be available in a flow. Please let me know if there is a way that I just misinterpreted. Thanks!

Hi @mmcgrath

Adding attachments to planner tasks as a direct action is currently not supported in Flow. You already found the articles on creating the file on SP or OneDrive and adding the link.

Here is the idea raised regarding this. You can upvote and add your comments to include this in the future releases.

Hope this Helps!

Hi,

I have the same question. I want to add my attachment from sharepoint list to planner while creating a task. I am trying to attach file from Power app which gets stored to sharepoint list but using flow I would like to attach same file from list to created planner task. Please help if this is possible.
