Add permissions to SharePoint using Microsoft Flow

Hello,

I need to grant "Read" permissions to new users to access our SharePoint site. This is the approach I am taking.

1) User requests access to the sharepoint site.

2) Add the user to a SharePoint List.

3) When an item is added to the list, trigger a flow which sends approval to a manger to approve the user.

4) Once approved, Grant Permissions on SharePoint Site using the Plumsail SP Connector - "Change Site Permissions".

5) Send email to the user requesting access.

I am hitting the following error:

{
  "error": {
    "code""Exception",
    "message""Can't resolve the username: johndoe@microsoft.com"
  }
}

Re: Add permissions to SharePoint using Microsoft Flow

Hi @Anonymous,

Could you please share a screenshot of the configuration of the flow?

Could you please share more details about the error message?

Please share more details so we would try to provide a proper workaround for you.

Best regards,

Alice
