Adding multiple assigned to planner tasks from SharePoint item

Hi

I am trying to create a planner task with multiple people assigned to it, from a SharePoint item, using flow.

My SharePoint list has a field called Requester, that's set to type person or group, it's set to allow multiple selections, but whatever I do Flow only seems to see the first name in the list and ignores any others when creating the Planner task.

My flow looks like this:

Compose action expression is:

concat(item()?['Email'],';',variables('Requester'))

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Charlie

Hi @chasb73,

Do you want to create a flow to add multiple assigned to user in a planner task?

Adding multiple assigned to user in a planner task is not supported in microsoft flow currently.

If you want to create a flow to add multiple assigned to user in a planner task,I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in Microsoft Flow currently.

If you would like this feature to be added in Microsoft Flow, please submit an idea to Flow Ideas Forum:

Best regards,

Alice

Are you serious?!

This is such a basic request, all it needs is for flow to take all the people listed in a field and add them to the assigned in Planner, instead it just reads the first name and stops.

I was trying to replicate this:

They seemed to get it to work, am not sure why my flow doesn't

Thanks

Charlie

Hi @chasb73,

I have made a test on my side to replicate the link that you provided, and couldn't assign task in planner to multiple assigned to person.

The link that you provided has use a "Update a task" action of Planner connector to update each assigned to from the Assigned to column in the list item, and it could only update the planner's "assign to" to the last person in the Assigned to column in the list item.

So as I have said before, adding multiple assigned to user in a planner task is not supported in microsoft flow currently.
