After an Apply To Each attachment in email action, further steps are disabled

Hello Community,

I am having an issue with an Apply To Each attachment in an email action. When the flow is executing, it disables the conditions that are inside the Apply To Each action and proceeds to exit with a successful competition message.

As you can see the Condition 3 action seems greyed and disabled.

The commands are designed as such :

The email contained a pdf file as attachment.

I also wish to point out that the problem occurs randomly. The flow sometimes works as expected, and sometimes this issue happens.

Can you guys point me in the right direction to a resolution or help me debug further?

Thank you,
DB

ATP was the problem, and disabling it did the trick.

Hi @DB1216

Could it be certain emails do not have PDF attachments or the filenames are in capitals as conditions are case sensitive.

Hello Eric,

  • I have verified again, the email sent to the mailbox did contain a pdf file in attachment and the file extension name is correct.
  • Moreover, from these types of email, even the images in the signature are considered as attachments.

But you will notice from the first screenshot that the "Condition 3" is never activated, that is, it does not even start the condition which will detect if there is an attachment so that it will go to the YES or No branch.

Hello,

This issue is occurring time and time again. Each time the email sent had the proper attachment (pdf file) with proper extension name.

What can be my next to go steps please?

Regards,
DB
