Allowed\Verified Approvers

I have built a flow that allows the users to select 2 approvers from seperate columns in SharePoint, when this change occurs the 2 approvers are sent emails and asked to approve the file that has been placed in the folder that I am monitoring.

This works and is what the users asked for, however the 2 columns that are setup for the 2 approvers to use to mark the file as approved\rejected allows anyone with access to the sharepoint to change the value.  What they would like is for the FLOW to verify that the user making the change is one of the 2 users that were selected in the Approvers columns.

Is this possible with FLOW?  I think I see that Sharepoint shows the value of a column was changed and who changed it, can I somehow use this to then check against the user making the change and verify they are one of the two users selected as approvers?

Thanks in Advance,

Hi @sguerrero1971,

I want to know if the content you mentioned is in the same list?

If it's in the same List, you could consider creating another Flow to monitor if someone else has changed the list.

Use When an item is created or modified as a trigger.

Compare the information of Modified by with the information of Approver contained in the current item.

If not, send a notification to you.

It is worth noting that Flow is currently unable to monitor whether the value of the specified field has been changed. Only the entire list can be monitored, whether or not an item has been changed or created.
