I filed to test. test. test and test..
Created an impresive Flow that uses Sharepoint, Approvals and even post some Slack messages.
All works great and its very elegant.... to me.
-to me, cause I did all my building and testing by receiving the Approvals in my email -via o365 WebMail.
There the message arrives, its nice and clean, I can click approve/reject, the comments section is reveleaed and the whole task is completed in the same window. Afterwards the message self updates so the buttons are gone.
((Yes, I understand the why of this and how the preview works in webmail --- lets not get stuck in the mud on that.))
Problem is, webmail is not standard and everyone else likes to use the app in windows and mac.
When that same email is opened in the Outlook app, its ugly and looks like something built for geocities in 1996.
To increase the pain, clicking a button takes you out of email and over the Flow web page, where the normal user tends to stop, panic and then go get coffee and forget all about this.
Curious to see if anyone here has found a way to get an approval - wihtout using "Approvals"
Maybe a means to send the email and then jsut instracut them to reply with the keyword "Approved"
The function to send the email and then jsut let user to reply with the keyword "Approved" for approval is not supported in microsoft flow currently.
I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in Microsoft Flow currently.
If you would like this feature to be added in Microsoft Flow, please submit an idea to Flow Ideas Forum:
