Approval Email - condensed view

Hi all,

I have built approval flow with six custom responses. The issue, email view is so condensed that approver can not see all responses.

Please see the screenshot.

Is there any way to extend the view to fit all custom responses?

Thank you in advance.

@dhirenk From the screenshot you sent it looks like the card is not showing options as someone else has already completed this request.

Can you send a screenshot of a new request before someone has completed it so we can see how it looks with all the options?

Hi @SamPo

Here is screenshot of approval email with custom responses. As you can see only two responses are visible but there are 4 other responses only if I could scroll right or make the email fill up white space.

Thank you.

@dhirenk In which application is your screenshot taken from?

See my screenshot from Outlook (I'm using outlook 365) (example with 4 options):

And on the web it looks like this:

The issue on the web is all the items get cut off (I will open a support ticket about this)

Can you also send a screenshot of the activity in your flow that you are using to generate this.

Hi @SamPo

That's really strange.

Because I am also using Outlook 365 client, see the screenshot.

Also, here is screenshot of process which generates the email.

Hope this helps.
Thank you for all time so far.

Best regards.

@dhirenk Very strange indeed.

It looks like you have a different view set up than me though. I see you have quick links in the top right to reply/forward/etc whereas I have the classic view of all the options across the top.

Maybe try resetting your Outlook to its default settings or maybe try on someone else's machine.

The only other difference is I'm on version 1902 and you are on 1904 so could be something there but I doubt it.

@SamPo

Is there any way I can change my Outlook to classic view?

Thank you.

@dhirenk Looks like it might be a version difference.

I found this user voice article where a user describes the change.

https://office365.uservoice.com/forums/264636-general/suggestions/37842937-move-reply-reply-all-and-...

I would still take a look on someone elses machine to see if it looks the same as there is a small chance something is just messed up with your installation. Alternatively try reinstalling outlook on your PC.

If that doesn't work then you'll have to open a ticket with Microsoft. Send them the screenshot from my version showing how its supposed to look.

Hi @SamPo

I have tested same email in Outlook 365 version 1812 and it looks just fine.

Looks like it is an issue with 1904. I've contacted Microsoft Support for fix.

Thank you very much for all your help.
