Approval Flow

I’m building three level approval flow.

When users create new requests, they need to choose the first level approver. When the first approver receives approval request, he/she edits the existing item and provide a value for approvers fields for the next two approval steps. Is it possible to assign approval for value provided by first approver when updating the existing item? Approver 2 and Approver 3 fields are empty when users

submits a new request.
