Approval Page

I have a question related to approvals.  I have a flow that will be generated in folder X in Sharepoint.  When they approve the PDF document it will get moved to folder Y and after they approve it then it will get moved to box Z.

Is it possible to add an approval page to the PDF or something showing who approved it, any comments made, and the time stamp at which they approved it through flow?

@jmsteed

You best bet is to add additional columns to the SharePoint libraries.  Populate the additional columns with the approval info that you would like to capture.

In addition, you might consider keeping the documents in one library and creating a number of views that show documents in each stage of the approval process - either by filtering the views, grouping or both.

Let me know if you need an example.

Hi!

How is PDF created? Do you use a Word Template, fill it, then convert word document result into PDF?

If so, I think you can can update Word doc metadata as soon as the PDF is approved... then convert to PDF the new Word doc version

Much much better explanation here

https://www.c-sharpcorner.com/article/how-to-fill-sharepoint-metadata-in-word-document-template-usin...

Hope this helps
