Approval Requestor = Created By

I got my approvals going, its purring like a kitten, successfully running ~20 times a week.

This is great but because I built the flow it looks like I am making the request for approval for every item.

Can I configure the flow to run such that the person who created the item is requesting the approval?

Hi @Phil4

Power Automate uses the user of the connection when you create it to send the approval email. There's no way to send it in the name of someone else since you would need to configure another connection and use that one.

Sorry for the bad news.

That is bummer. Its a sort of logical flaw but maybe this could be configurable at some point.  I want to give true ownership of the request to the person who is requesting it.  Further, i would like to deflect attention from myself for asking for so many approvals when i am not actually the one who owns the item.
