Hello,
I tried to use two string variables to capture the name and direct URL to the first attachment in a SharePoint list for adding a direct link to that attachment in the Approval action. I want to use this work-around, since the feature to add attachments to an Approval is not yet released.
My approcal action details looks like this:
Result in the approval email:
Is this a bug, or is the problem, that the URL contains spaces?
When I directly C&P the url I can open the attachment.
Thanks for any feedback,
Matthias
Hi @Anonymous,
Thanks for feedback, it can be reproduced on my side.
Per my test, it seems that whenever there are spaces in the URL, it won’t be clickable. Please remove the spaces in the URL so it will work for you.
I will help confirm this issue and back to you later.
Best regards,
Mabel Mao
Hi @v-yamao-msft,
thanks a lot for your feedback.
After you confirmed, that the issue is cased by the spaces I tried the following work-around: in the string variable containig the url I replaced all spaces with "%20". By doing so the link in the Approval email is now displayed correctly and also working.
I hope this helps in fixing the issue with the link markdown itself.
best regards,
Matthias
