Approvals, Did something change I dont know about?

I've been noticing some random issues with certain elements in flow that aren't working like they were just a few weeks ago. Did MSFT change something on the back end with this tool?

Yesterday, I was teaching a coworker and walking him through building a flow and we were going to email a list of addresses that we pulled from a SP list. When I had done this before, I always put the addresses into an array variable(like any good programmer would) and in the TO: field I would send it to the variable. But when we tried it, no variables were selectable in the Dynamic Content window.

Today, I am trying to create an approval task in a job and getting the same problem. This time, it's more serious because I have a group of approvers that needs to receive this task and we all know that you cant assign it to an AD group (which is dumb) so you have to send the approval to each email individually. Here's how I built a similar task a few months ago and it works this way:

Here is how I see it today and what I'm trying to do:

And this is what results when I try to run this:

HI @TP3_Altice

You found a tricky one. The way I get mine to work is to have one variable that concatenates the email address with ";" and use that in the "from" field. That's working fine, but I can't understand why the variables don't show up anymore.

Probably the From was changed so that only one variable is accepted but still doesn't explain why they don't show up. Did you change the type to something other than string?

Can you try the "concatenate" workaround using a "Compose," for example and let me know if that solves your problem?

If I have answered your question, please mark your post as Solved.
If you like my response, please give it a Thumbs Up.
