Approver - Distinct Pick and Email

Hi,

1. There is a List with a column called Finance Approver. So ideally there will be 1 finance approver for each item.
2. Currently the flow is sending an email to the finance approver for each item. Assume that I am a finance approver for 6 items. I will receive 6 emails.
3. We want to limit it to 1 email only. So ideally if there are 10 items – 6 items (Approver A), 2 items (Approver B), 1 item (Approver C), 1 item (approver D) – Instead of sending 6 mails to approver A/2 to approver B, 1 each to approver C & D, I want to send out a total of 4 emails – 1 to each approver.

SO ideally it should pick up the distinct approver value from all items and send an email mentioning about all the items pending is his queue.

Hi @sudheermadduru 

You need to do the following.

1. Create an array variable
2. Get all approvers. 
3. For each approver check if they exist in the array variable (you can use the email to check)
   1. If yes do nothing
   2. If no add the email to the array
4. Create a string variable
5. For each element in the array variable concatenate it to the string variable with a ";"
6. Add the string variable (with all your distinct values) to your approval process. 
7. The same approval process will be sent to X people
