Automate "losing" configuration after save

I have created a flow to read from a HTTP source, convert that into JSON and then save to a CDS entity.

The problem I am having is that I configure the "Create new record" CDS action, filling it with the appropriate fields from the parse JSON step and save the flow. Any fields that are part of the "Advanced options" part of the action are lost by flow.

Any idea why this might be? The action in question is nested inside 2 "apply to all" actions, but I don't think that should cause an issue?

Re: Automate "losing" configuration after save

Hi @Omertron,

Ok, thank you for your feedback, but I still have no find the same issue. There is a workaround you can have a reference to. Use the expression @item()?['value'] to input these fields directly, for example:

@item()['Subject']

Or enter the expression item?['value'] in the Expression bar:

item()?['Subject']

Re: Automate "losing" configuration after save

Hi @Omertron,

Do you still have the problem? I tested on my side but not find the same issue.

If the problem still exists, you can check the type of these dynamic content whether is same with these fields in CDS entity, I can notice these field some are not lost, maybe they are correct. Or, you can test it in another environment to confirm it whether still exist.

Re: Automate "losing" configuration after save

Hi,

Yes the problem "still" exists. I posted after spending 2 days trying to resolve the issue.

I have tried the following things:

  • Re-creating the flow from scratch (3 times).
  • Using different tables from CDS ( 4 different tables)
  • Combinations of the above (re-creating tables, re-creating flows).

The structure of the flow is:
Get data -> Apply to all (get more data) -> Apply to all (Write data to tables)

Please let me know if there is anything else I can try to resolve this issue?
