BUG? - Dynamic Content items disappear when type is set within JSON Schema

My HTTP request is returning a JSON payload which I am trying to build the schema for. The payload is an array  of objects who's poroperties I need to access.

I have discovered that if an object property has a 'Type' definied within the schema (EG: "address":{"type":"string"}  ) it will immediately become unavailable as a Dynamic Content field. If this type definition is removed (EG: "address":{}   ) then the field becomes available in the Dynamic Content list.

This seems like an obvious bug to me, but perhaps I am missing something?

Please help.

Re: JSON Schema to access object properties within an array

Hi @Ben_Love,

Have you tried the parse JSON action?

Parse JSON messages

Just choose the HTTP request body as the value input, then the parse JSON action should be able to return the proper content.

Besides, for the HTTP request, in addition to writing schema directly, please click the Use sample payload to generate schema to auto-generate the Schema.

See if that would help.

Regards,

Michael

Re: JSON Schema to access object properties within an array

Yes. It is the Parse JSON action which I am using to build the scheme mentioned above. Apologies I didn't make that clear in my original post.
