Bad Gateway 502 on reading email

Hi all,

We are using Flows to pickup emails from our shared mailboxes and populate a "Central Filing" document list in SharePoint.

BadGateway.jpg

So far, as a pilot we've setup four of these of which three configured work as expected. In the fourth, we are seeing a consistent message:

{
  "error": {
    "code"502,
    "source""australia-001.azure-apim.net",
    "clientRequestId""f4e05222-7925-4e30-8ee1-748389d86bbf",
    "message""BadGateway",
    "innerError": {
      "status"502,
      "message""Request failed. Try again later.\r\nclientRequestId: f4e05222-7925-4e30-8ee1-748389d86bbf\r\nserviceRequestId: 7b6dcf9b-6842-4b36-99ac-30ba0ff922ba",
      "source""office365-ae.azconn-ae.p.azurewebsites.net"
    }
  }
}

Looking through the resulting error, it's apparent that the flows is failing at the retrieval of the email step.

The setup of these are identical, and it is a pretty standard, low sophistication setup:

setup.jpg

Analytics shows all runs for this have resulted in the BadGateway error - none of the flows have succeeded. The email box is receiving messages, the connector used has delegated access over the account.

From the messages here it seems that 502 is a transient error - is there anything that I can do to make it more transient and start working?

Thanks in advance,

Adam.

Re: Bad Gateway 502 on reading email

Hi @AdsfromOz,

If the error code  502 appears, the failure is temporary or transient,you could click or tap Resubmit to try the flow again.

You could refer to link below to troubleshooting a flow:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/flow/fix-flow-failures

Please take a try to click or tap Resubmit the flow again.

Best regards,

Alice

Re: Bad Gateway 502 on reading email

Thanks Alice,

Still failing after 10 attempts - so assuming as the flow runs on receipt of email, that Flow's less transient than I thought.

The action:

Please take a try to click or tap Resubmit the flow again.

Is not present (anywhere I could see) so I recreated the flow and the error recurs. Any other ideas which I might try?
