Basic Flow Query - Requested By

Afternoon from Leeds, West Yorkshire!

I am hoping someone may be able to help me out, I am losing the will!!.... I am not an IT person at all but I use Sharepoint (still a reasonable beginner) and I am testing the water with Flow.

I have created an Annual Leave Request list in Sharepoint and I am trying to set up a basic “Request Manager Approval for Leave Requests” flow connected to this list.

I want any team member to be able to request a holiday, which then gets approved by their line manager. I have made sure the Managers have been assigned in Azure Active Directory.

The flow “sort of” works….It goes by email to the Line Manager / Approvers, but it also goes to the email of the User who added the item to the List as an approval email, and it states that I myself have requested it. So my direct reports can add a list item, it comes to me to approve but also to themselves to Approve and states that I requested it?

I have changed various items in the flow but being a novice I have no clue what I may be doing wrong? Do Flows belong to an individual user and this is why it always states the request is from myself?

Any help is greatly appreciated!
