Hi!
I'm looking for a connector(s) which allows me to:
-Merge 2 pdf into 1
-Fill fillable PDF
For now I'm using Plumsail however I don't use more functions for now and I'm trying to find connector which don't forces me to buy subscription plan (come on guys If every connector would be seperatly paid flow wouldn't such a great tool)
Solved! Go to Solution.
sorry Maeby I miss understand, see this.
in my experience you can't use this kind of actions by free because are premium, you can use one drive action convert to pdf Yes it could be free but Word? I don't think so, a premium conector requieres a new licence or suscription that cost about 15$. See https://us.flow.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/ , you can use premium conectors by free just in a period of time.
And you ask about a way to merge 2 pdfs so
all of this are third part actions so, are not for free.
If you have a way to convert pdf by free without using OneDrive action, or populate word without using Premium conector, please share with us an screanshot I'shure the community will glad you.

hi @Anonymous unfortunally don't exist, see you have just this way
https://plumsail.com/docs/documents/v1.x/flow/how-tos/documents/merge-pdf-files.html
and uses plumsail

Yeah however there is plenty of PDF connectors. Some of them are cheap some of them are not. Plumsail isn't good pricing option.
shure @Anonymous but a free action like you ask not exist my friend.

And you are wrong. You can convert pdf into word for free and you can fill word for free and again convert it into PDF. However I didn't find any workaround or action to merge two text files. I feel betrayed by Power Automate :c Where is sense to pay for subscription to use connectors which ask me to buy another subscription o.O?

Hey @Anonymous @ChristianAbata
The Encodian connector does provides a 'Free' subscription plan limited to 50 actions per month.
Ref feeling betrayed by Power Automate;
It's not possible for Microsoft to cover every single feature which is why the Microsoft partner ecosystem exists. Partners build upon core Microsoft capabilities and enhance the offerings in specific scenarios.... this exists for all Microsoft technologies not just Power Automate (Think back-up, migration, records management, signing, etc.).
I'd suggest posting a uservoice, if enough people vote for the feature then Microsoft typically ship the feature 🙂
Ref premium connectors;
I understand that any user using a flow which uses a premium connector should have a licence which permits premium connectors.

@Anonymous
May not be relevant... but you mentioned in the your last message you just need to merge two text files which you can do with native Power Automate capabilities, see below:
I'm just looking for something what don't except me to pay per file/flow like that connectors. I didn't mean premium as additional cost 🙂
Nice! However I need to merge two pdfs. Probably we will use Intergrable because of best pricing. However It's pitty that connector don't have pdf form filling. Then I would fall in love in that 😄
Thank you guys you both were big help
Hey @Anonymous
Bear in mind the Integral PDF merge action has a few limitations... it only supports up to 4 documents, Encodian supports 1000 documents. The Integral action also requires you to explicitly configure the action... i..e the action would always take exactly the same number of files, where as Encodian's actions allow you to provide an array of documents which could be any number of documents (which is a more typical scenario) and it will also convert them to PDF if they aren't already PDF documents.

Yup I know. Your tools is better and more expensive. We need merge 2 files and we are looking for best pricing option. So we will use cheaper and plumsail probably because of two our needs.
Hey @Anonymous
As a heads up, our May release includes a new 'Fill a PDF Form' action adding support for both XFA and Standard Acroforms.
The action is due to hit our REST API next week and will then be with Microsoft for release which usually takes 2 weeks.

Hey!
Beacuse of data privacy i'm going to use open source scripts to merge and to fill PDF. I will host it on azure. It's gonna be a lot of cheaper than using connector and also our data won't go out by api to another company. Data which I use is very sensitive.
Or maybe Encodian is so great you will handle the responsibility? 🙂 I understand that Encodian and PlumSail sends my data as file content and form to you out from the microsoft environment etc. I don't know how 3rd party connectors are working. Generaly If that files would leak that would create possibility of lawsuit to data administrator so this is why we want to create own connector.
Hey @Anonymous
As you can expect (and I'd be certain this to the case for all third party power automate vendors), data security is paramount.
Encodian process secure data for organizations across the globe (including GCC), this isn't a new challenge.
I totally understand your perception on security, but I'd expect the continual review and investment made by Encodian to protect data is far more significant than the control and measures applied to a custom solution built on Azure.
The Encodian infrastructure is hosted 100% in Azure to assure data never leaves Microsoft infrastructure and there are controls and measures to ensure the secure processing of data.
Hopefully food for thought
My best
Jay
correction in that, it is not 4 documents, may be more.
so i have tried just now, with PAD new version, and i was able to merge 10 files in another pdf.
