Block a document

Hello there,

I need help with a flow in a library. I have created a document approval that works correctly changing the status to APPROVED or REJECTED as the case may be, but I want the flow to lock once the document is APPROVED and do not allow anyone to edit. Is there a way to do that?

Thanks

Hi @Alonso_96,

One approach could be to declare the document as a record. A locked record blocks the editing of content:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/compliance/records-management?view=o365-worldwide#com...

However, this requires the setup of a retention label and policy:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/compliance/declare-records?view=o365-worldwide#config...

Happy to help out! 🙂
