Re: Bringing label of the dynamics lookup field

Hello,

I need to create HTML table which will send a list of completed appointment from dynamics as email

but when I create the template I realized that Lookup values are shown as code.

For example, Owner table is shown like below in the email.

Owner

3a80b672-c1d5-e811-a952-000d3ab5228b

4480b672-c1d5-e811-a952-000d3ab5228b

3a80b672-c1d5-e811-a952-000d3ab5228b

here is  screenshot from HTML table of my flow:

Many Thanks,

Elly

Re: Bringing label of the dynamics lookup field

Hi @Elly-Farokhi ,

You need to use Get record action to get the value of the field in the corresponding lookup table.

Re: Bringing label of the dynamics lookup field

Hello @v-bacao-msft ,

I had already used the action of get value , here is how my full flow looks like.

But still I receive the Owner ID instead of owner name.

Thank you,

Elly

Re: Bringing label of the dynamics lookup field

Hi @Elly-Farokhi ,

You need to use variables to store the information about the fields that need to be displayed in the table. You can refer to the configuration mentioned in my previous post.

Re: Bringing label of the dynamics lookup field

Hello @v-bacao-msft

I used your techniques and it actually break the table fomat as well.

Below is how I received the email now:

<table><thead><tr><th>Owner</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>100a7881-a227-e911-a95f-000d3ab52341</td></tr><tr><td>100a7881-a227-e911-a95f-000d3ab52341</td></tr></tbody></table>

my requirement is to send the weekly visit report to list of users.

which means that I need to send the list of appointments which are completed in last 7 days in email.

There are many look up fields in my table such as: Regarding, Required attendees, Optional attendees and Owner of the appointment.

All of this party field and lookup field are shown as code in my email.

Is there a wat to edit the HTML table code, for example I want to replace

"Value": "@item()?['_regardingobjectid_value']" to "Value": "@item()?['_regardingobjectid_label']"

Re: Bringing label of the dynamics lookup field

Hi @Elly-Farokhi ,

You can use Send an email action and set the Is html field to Yes.

For the Lookup column, if you want to get the corresponding value, you need to use Get record action to get the corresponding value in the lookup entity, and then append it to the array, as I mentioned in the previous reply.
