Building a flow that take items from list and exports to csv

I'm building a flow that takes items from a list and puts them into a CSV. The issue im having is I have four fields I want.

E-Mail Address

First

Last

Custom (yes/no) (labeled kids360)

When it runs the output instead of saying yes or blank it says false on some of them and doesnt appear to be picking up the data. What am I missing?

I'm not sure if I understand your problem correctly:

  • The input data is a list of objects containing each an email adress, a first and last name and a custom label that should be "yes" or "no".
  • When you run your flow, a CSV Table is created
  • For some of the entries, the "custom" field is not correctly filled. Instead of the expected "yes/no", you get "false".

Correct sofar?

Can you please show an example of the input and output you get? How does the data looks like in your list and how does it look like in the CSV table?

Yes one of the fields is Kids360 and the data that is in the field is a yes/no option. Allot of the fields currentlly say no or there blank but I need that data to be exported. Below is a screenshot of the list and a screenshot of what is currentlly being exported with the flow.

Hum... ok. Do you have access to the underlying data?

If I remember well the Yes/No datatypes in sharepoint can be interpreted from Yes/No, 0/1, True/False and On/Off. If you additionally have a default value to "no" in Sharepoint, it could it be that you have different data in your column, including "no", "false" and " ", that all those get interpreted by sharepoint to "no" in the UI.

Does it makes sense?

Hi @rdalrymple,

Could you please share a screenshot of the flow run details when the flow run failed?

Could you please share more details about the error message?

Please share more details so we would try to provide a proper workaround for you.

Best regards,

Alice
