Can I compare data from Active Directory with data in Salesforce?

I need email addresses for people in our organization. Salesforce has users grouped nicely by all sorts of criteria, whether it's region or product, but the email addresses aren't always current. The Active Directory has all the correct emails addresses, but isn't grouped in a way that we can easily access the people we need. I have a report in Salesforce that has been built that gives me all the users I want to target. I want to compare the email addresses in the SF report to the emails in AD and flag any discrepancies. I then want to email my stakeholder with a tidy report of all accurate user information as an attachment and a list of the discrepancies in the body of the email.

Is this possible? I tried fiddling around with an app just to see what I could do and got an error when I tried adding the O365 user connection when I already had a Salesforce connection.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
