Can I delete all rows unconditionally in an Excel table (hosted on OneDrive Business), without using Apply to each iteration, and without also deleting the table?

My Excel table could get over 10,000 rows, so iterating through it row by row to delete seems like it would take unnecessary time. I don't need to delete by any condition, other than the condition to leave the table intact for reuse. Is apply to each and delete a row the only way to clear a table?

Hi!

I am afraid current connector does not allow to delete rows in a bulk , not even delete the table.

Did you consider invoking Microsoft Graph instead? I mean, does this workaround fit with your requirements?

Hre you will find an excelent article on this approach

https://sharepains.com/2018/10/17/microsoft-flow-read-large-excel-files-within-seconds-without-creat...

And here you have official doc no how to delete row via Microsoft Graph

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/tablerow-delete?view=graph-rest-1.0

Hope this helps

Hi @Lexicron ,

I am afraid to use List rows present in a table action to get all the rows, then use Apply to each to traverse the records and use delete rows action to delete all the rows is the only option in the supported functions in Power Automate that we can rely on at present.

Please try the method provided by @efialttes to achieve your needs.

In addition, if you want Power Automate to provide more convenient functions to meet your needs, please consider submitting your suggestions in ideas form:
