Can we get and reassign a particular approval task from a flow?

I have two sharepoint lists > 1. Leave Request List  2. Delegation list.

I have two flows > 1. LeaveRequestFlow  2. TimerFlow (Runs 1 time in a day. This flow checks the Delegation list and if some conditions are true then updates the Leave Request List).

By these two flows I am trying to build a approval task delegation system. With my current flows I can create a approval task for a delegated user but the original approval task remains same.

Any directions? TIA

Re: Can we get and reassign a particular approval task from a flow?

Hi @PhantomSoul ,

Sorry for my late reply.

For your needs, I am afraid that MS Flow does not have a direct action to implement it. Basically, Reassign needs to be completed in Approval center.

However, if this is the case described below, it seems that MS Flow can achieve a function similar to Reassign.

When the previous Approval action is not completed until time out, we can create another Start approval action, configure Configure run after, and execute another approval action when the status of the previous Approval action is time out, and Approver is another person. .

If you want this feature you mentioned to be supported by MS Flow, please post this idea in the Flow Ideas forum, so it might be considered for future releases.

MS Flow needs further improvement. Please don't lose confidence in it. More participation can make it more better and cover more application scenarios.

Re: Can we get and reassign a particular approval task from a flow?

My LeaveRequest flow is triggered when an item is created or modified. When a person delegate his/her  tasks in Delegation list my timer flow checks and if utcnow is in the range of delegation start and end date then it updates the LeaveRequest list and therefore the LeaveRequest flow starts with a new approval request. But I want it to reassign the old approval task.
