Cannot send an email V2

I have set a work flow that will automatically send a reminder email after 15 minutes the case is being created.

My flow setting is:

When an item is created>Delay 15 minutes>Get item>condition:when the status value is equal to Closed>send an email to the assigned staff.

My flow can run successfully when I send email to "created by" But failed when send to "Assign to",

The list setting of property of created by email is Person or Group and the list setting of assign to is choice.

And the error message is: Parameter 'To' cannot be null or empty.
clientRequestId: 50a97845-b99a-4038-8db2-6b0cd34e785d,

Please advise what cause this issue.Flow.PNGAssign to.PNGCreated By.PNG

Re: Cannot send an email V2

Hi @Pinoq ,

What was configured in To filed? Assign To or Assign To Email?

If it is Assign to, you should choose Assign To Value, because the type of this column is Choice.

Besides, you could add one more condition in Conditions control to check if the value of the Assign To or Assign To Email is empty.

Re: Cannot send an email V2

Hi @Pinoq

Looks like To property is null hence it can't send the email. Check your run history expand the Get Item and check the outputs. Make sure the expected values are returned from Get Items.

Thanks

@Pinoq

Can you share a screenshot of your flow design, so we can see the details of the dynamic content/expression you used to fill 'To' when sending the email that failed?

Thanx!
