Capture versions of document set automatically when an item is changed (power automate)

Hello,

Does anyone know if there´s any way I can set up a flow in power automate to capture a version of a document set when an item is changed? (e.g Major Version published)I know there are not out of the box features do deal with docsets in power automate (at least for know), but perhaps with the action "send http request to sharpoint" there's a way I can do it. If anyone knows a way to do this (even without power automate) I would be extremly glad.

Thanks

Re: Capture versions of document set automatically when an item is changed (power automate)

Hi,

I´m having trouble with the "get file metadata" action for the selected document set. I´m getting this error message: "The file /sites/TesteDocSets/64 does not exist."

Thank you

Re: Capture versions of document set automatically when an item is changed (power automate)

Hi @lourenco_silva,

In the File identifier field is dynamic content Identifier:

Annotation 2020-05-27 140646.jpg

But I don't think it could capture versions of a document, the last modified is return date of modified time. If you want to capture versions of a document, the only way is use Send HTTP request to SharePoint, there is a post talk about it how to get previous versions and restore, hope it could help you:

Hi @v-litu-msft,

Thank you for your help. But I'm dealing with Document Sets, not with proper documents. I was trying to perform the following action with flow:
