Cascading approval flows : adding approbator's comment

Hello !

I am working on a multi/cascading approval flow for SharePoint list's items (investment requests).
At maximum, my item will pass through 5 steps of approvals, each depending of the previous' response AND the amount requested (compared to a budget)

(so it is a big deal of lots of conditions).

I am using Create Approval and Wait for an approval actions.

  1. Now, I would like to update the column "Coments from the approbators", which is a column SharePoint creates when you enable approbation on a list.
How do you do that ?
  2. I would like to bypass the "Apply to each" step generated by the flow when wanting to get the Approval's response. Because each time I will only have ONE person approving for each approval created.
How do you do that ?

Thanks a lot !

Have a nice day !

Hi @Anonymous ,

Could you please share a screenshot of the configuration of your flow?

Do you want to update the column "Coments from the approbators" from all comments from the approvers, if yes, you could set the column "Coments from the approbators" with Multiple lines of text type.

Why are your flow have a "Apply to each" step generated? Please choose the Approve/Reject - First to respond from the Approval type to prevent the "Apply to each" step from generating.

Best regards,

Alice
