Hi
Is anyone here familiar with an effective mothod to clear metadata via power automate?
I will describe the use case:
The employee is working with the One Drive Sync Client and using an old powerpoint presentation that has some useful slides he woukld like to reuse. he then saves it as a new presentation in the synced client . but the document inherited the old metadata.
I am trying to use the "update file proerties" action ( which Im already using for changing document title to be equal to the docment name) but it does not allow me to use dynamic metadata - instead it prompts me to choose from a list of values.
What is the best way to deal with that?

Hi @GaliGonen
See if the following helps https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Flows/Update-file-property-to-empty-null-not-working/td...? It’s suggesting using an empty variable. I am not able to try this myself right now.

Hi @GaliGonen
Have you tried to use the "Enter Custom Value" option for the column you are looking to update?
Damien
Thanks! looks promising/ but how do I clear the metadata value that is currently there? I tried using Fx null and it didn't do anything
