Cognito Forms and Google Sheets - send an email to new entries

I'm using Cognito Forms to collect registrations for workshops that my organization runs.

I have a flow that takes new entries and places them as a new row in a google sheet.

I'd like to also use Flow to somehow send an email to new entries/participants. I can't figure out the right way to do this. Is it a flow with the Google Sheet? Is there a way to extract an email address from new rows and send an email to the address?

Please help 😕

Re: Cognito Forms and Google Sheets - send an email to new entries

Hi @rustyxnails,

According to your description, I assume that the following flow configuration could be your reference.

There are two fields in the forms, name and email address.

There is a Google sheet with the columns Name and EmailAddress, and when the form is submitted, the corresponding info would be saved to the Google Sheet.

To send an email to new entries, use the action Send an email and get the email address from either the form or the sheet. In this flow, I get the email address from the Google Sheet.

Please check the following screenshot and take a try with it on your side.

Best regards,
