I have a super simple flow:
When a new email arrives -> Apply to each attachment -> Create file (sharepoint)
In the last step I want to place the attachment in the folder based on the attachment filename.
The filename will include underscore. Everything to the left of the underscore will be the folder name in which I want the file placed.
When I try using the split function with the expression for the file name, it doesn't work. Clicking split, and then going to the "dynamic fields" tab, doesn't even show me the option to select the file name. And here I thought file names were strings? What is the issue here?
Furthermore I've noticed I have to hold down "command" key on my mac when switching between the tabs,
i.e. I first have to click the "split" function, then write the first opening brace "(" which will also include an end brace. Then I have to hold down "cmd" key on the mac, switch tabs and click on a dynamic field (If I'm lucky it's even there). If I don't do the last steps the expression just vanishes and I have to start from scratch.
If I just copy the field, I get a lot of giberish with @ signs and curly braces:
