Combining to outputs from Planner task lists

Hi All,

I have two planner lists that I wish to compine.  Both are coming from the same call to planner, with each pointed at a different list.

It feels like I should be able to join with some form of Union (preferably only keeping unique items as there could be duplicates).  I cannot figure out how though and right now my best bet is convoluted code that iterates the lists adding them all into an array.

Feels like there should be a Join function somewhere, I just can't figure out how.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Re: Combining to outputs from Planner task lists

Hi @ tre4B,

Do you want to combine all outputs from Planner task lists or all Title of Planner task lists?

If you would combine all Title of Planner task lists, please refer to screenshot below to create the flow:

Capture.PNG

The expression in the value field of the append to array variable as below:

items('Apply_to_each')?['Title']
The expression in the Compose field as below:
union(variables('tasks'),variables('tasks'))

I have four planner tasks as below:

The flow would run successfully to combine the title of the task as below:

If you would like to combine all outputs from Planner task lists, I'm afraid you couldn't only keep unique items, the expression union() wouldn't keep unique items

You could refer to screenshot below to create the flow:

The flow would run successfully to combine all tasks as below:

Please let me know if your problem could be solved.

Alice Zhang
