Compare Two Strings to find DIfference

I am able to now get the string values for the current Assigned Software and the Previous Software.

As you can see above a piece of software was removed from the "Software Inventory" list. Conversely a new piece of software can be added too.
Here is what the "Software Users Inventory" List shows when a new Item is added to the "Software Inventory" list.

My question is how can I compare the Assigned Software field to the Previous Software field to isolate the different items and then update the "Software Users Inventory" list to reflect the changes? Both fields are semicolon separated.

Hi, 

I would use split() based on the ;. That will give you an array of each item set. 

Then, you can just use a condition, and say, does Array 1 contain Current Item from Array 2. 

If it does, you can add that item into a third array - or a string - or however you want to track it.

If it doesn't, you could ignore it, or add that to another array or string.

Ok, here is what I have so far.

Both splits are working as expected

In the Apply to Each 9
I am looking at each item in Outputs('Compose_Split_Previous_Software_2')

As you can see from both arrays the missing software is "Business Card Maker" which I will need to remove from "Software Users Inventory" list below. 
How do I capture that missing value into another array because there could be times when multiple values are added or removed.

It looks like you have the correct next step, the condition:

From there, it should build you an array of the missing things. So in my test, my arrays were this:

And my output was this:

Now that I know the differences, I can do a "For Each" on this array per value. 

So like, "For Each", filter Software Users Inventory by User, then, filter again by the txtProgramName. If the value is there, remove it. If it isn't there, add it.

This gets me closer.
I see that your final array shows two values "Pamphlet" and "Business Card".
What I need to do now is parse each of those values and put them into a string variable and then see if they exist in the "Software Users Inventory" list that I previously showed.
If the value doesn't exist, then added it! Conversely, if software titles are removed then remove them from the list.
I'm going to keep working and hopefully I can come up with what I need by tomorrow.

As you can see "Advance Spring Design" is missing

The same Current Item is used in the Condition.
The result of what I have done, returns

I was hoping that the No condition would show "Advance Spring Design"
Obviously, I am missing something so I hope you can assist further.
