Compare fields from Sharepoint in Odata filter

Hi there,

I'm trying to filter rows from a Sharepoint Online list which have different values in two columns.

ie: "Get items"-action with filterquery "Column1Name ne Column2Name"

Doesn't seem to be possible? The flow ends with a "Value does not fall within the expected range" error.

Hi @SamVdv,

You could take a try with "Filter Array" action to achieve your needs:

Re: Compare fields from Sharepoint in Odata filter

Could you do something like the image below? Where you get all records from the list but only do something with that record if the are not equal using the Apply to each and condition.

If this helped please mark as the solution.

Thank you

Re: Compare fields from Sharepoint in Odata filter

Hi,

Your approach would certainly work, but because most items of the list have matching columns the filter would probably perform better.

I agree, I just don't think it is possible to do it the way you want.  We can see if someone else has a better solution.....
