Condition - Yes/ No list failing

I have created a flow where an appraisal form moves from Self to Manager when an employee select "yes". I have used the column type as "yes/no" with default value as "no")

 

I am not sure what should my expression. yes.PNG

Just change the yes in your condition to true.  Everything else looks like its fine.

 

boolean is a data type.  Its why the value doesn't come through as yes or no.

Yes/No columns in SharePoint will be read as boolean values in Power Automate.  So the correct test would be like this condition using your field name in the left hand side.

Can you elaborate more what I should do. I am a newbie to flows and syntaxs.

 

Appreciate if you can suggest what should I type on left and right side?

 

I am unable to find "boolean" under "add dynamic content".

 

My column name is "finalise self appraisal"

In your flow - Condition action where you typed "Yes" type "true" then it will work.

thank you that worked. Its stange it does accept "true" but not "True" with the upper case. thank you again

Those values are case sensitive.  That's why I normally recommend actually inserting true using the Expression tab in the Dynamic content dialog.  That will always get it correct.
