Hello,
I have a form in Microsoft forms that has a multichoice question with several options and the "Other" option enabled which allows the user to enter in their own answer. I already have a flow that updates an excel sheet anytime the form is completed. I would like to add a condition that sends me an email anytime a user choses the "other" option as that would prompt an immediate response.
I hope that is clear.
Thanks
Adam
HI @nukeguy315
I've just looked at the body of the reponse when "other" is selected and I inserted 123 into the answer. Unfortunately the string 123 is returned and there is no way to identify that the response is not one of my standard answers.
The only way to identify the other response would be to prefix the original answers so that the other is distinguishable. I.e. if you prefixed them all with ANSWER:, you could then filter (filter array) the reponses where they don't contain ANSWER: and the length of the array is 1, you know you have an Other type response.
If this post helps, then please consider Accept it as the solution to help the other members find it more quickly.
Cheers,
Damien
