Condition to filter attachments by pdf and tif not working. Somehow bypassing condition and saving all attachments (used to work)

So I have used his several times but on this one the condition is not filtering by pdf and tif.

What am I missing? Seems like it's simple but I just don't know why the condition is not working as expected.

Please see below. Any help is appreciateda.PNG!

Re: Condition to filter attachments by pdf and tif not working. Somehow bypassing condition and saving all attachments (used to work)

Hi @r96359,

Oh, I understand what you want to do now, you just only want to save these attachments which extension is pdf and tif, but others not save, such as png, jpg, right?

It is caused by the error of the Create file part, please delete Apply to each 2 action and structure your Flow as below:

Re: Condition to filter attachments by pdf and tif not working. Somehow bypassing condition and saving all attachments (used to work)

A bit more info.

When testing, all 3 other graphics that are jpg & png come bask as false so how are they being saved in my file system?

The only true in my example is a pdf file so why would my jpg and png files be included if they are false?

Thanks!

Hi @r96359

Can you check if there are any trailing whitespaces after .pdf and .tif in the condition action?

Hope this Helps!

Re: Condition to filter attachments by pdf and tif not working. Somehow bypassing condition and saving all attachments (used to work)

Hi @r96359,

I think it is possibly caused by the reason provided by @yashag2255, I tested on my side that reproduces your Flow, when there is no blank space after the ".pdf", it will works normally. But if I added a blank space after it, the condition will never met:

Re: Condition to filter attachments by pdf and tif not working. Somehow bypassing condition and saving all attachments (used to work)

@yashag2255

@v-litu-msft

I was really hoping that I had a trailing or preceding space.

I do not have any spaces in the condition fields for .pdf and .tif.

The additional files I am getting back are image001.jpg, image002.png, image003.png

Looking at the test results, I do se that the condition input shows true for one file and false for the other 4 BUT when I look at the IF YES window, I see that there is also an APPLY TO EACH and that shows 4 files written.

See file below. Hopefully this helps figure out the issue.

Appreciate everyone's help!!

Any other possible help offered?

Trailing spaces do not seem to be the issue.

Thanks!
