Condition value not returning expected result.

Hi everyone,  I'm having trouble with a condition that uses a Salesforce field.  All I want is for the flow to continue when the condition is true.  I set it up as follows:

@equals(triggerBody()?['Product__c'], '3D SCANNER™ (BNC)')

Even if the product field in Salesforce contains "scanner", I still get a false.  Any clue why this is happening?

Re: Condition value not returning expected result.

Hi @jln2471,

Could you please share a screenshot of your flow's configuration?

Do you want your flow to continue when the Product field contains "SCANNER" or when Product field is equal to 3D SCANNER™ (BNC)?

If you want your flow to continue when the Product field contains "SCANNER", I think there is something wrong with the formula that you provided. The formula that you provided means that your flow would continue only when the Product field value is equal to 3D SCANNER™ (BNC).

I have made a test on my side and please take a try with the following workaround:6.JPG

Within Condition box, left input box set to Product Name dynamic content of the trigger, right input box set to SCANNER. Middle drop down, choose is equal to.

Or you could consider take a try to click "Edit in advanced mode", type the following formula:

@contains(triggerBody()?['Name'], 'SCANNER')

On your side, you should type the following formula within your Condition box (advanced mode😞

@contains(triggerBody()?['Product__c'], 'SCANNER')

Note: It is case-sensitive within expressions of Microsoft Flow.

The flow works successfully as below:7.JPG
