Conditional formatting with Sharepoint Forms

Hello,

I have a person/group column in my Sharepoint form and all I am trying to do is make sure that the field is not empty and with a valid email or email address. Some type of message display on the form would be perfect!

I do not want to make this a required field on the validation settings as it doesn't work well with my power automate flow, therefore I am trying to do it on the front side of the SharePoint form.1.jpg

Hello @trini272021 ,

I'm not sure if you can do a validation in the conditional formula, I think it's use is limited to show/not show a column on the form based on the condition, e.g.

=if([$Column] == 'Value', 'true', 'false')
