Connection reference user is not used in sharepoint

Hallo,

I have the problem that I configured a new Connection references with a service user.

This user also has the privileges to edit items and change item permissions in Sharepoint. Now I have the curious problem that the sharepoint itmes are not edited by the service user (which is entered as my connection reference) but the user who runs the flow via the power app. And this should not be the case because I create the connection reference so that this user can edit the items.

Thanks for any help.

Hi @MaxF ,

This is expected behavior, if you want all users to use the same credentials for an action, please try:

1\Please use the 'PowerApps(V2)' as the trigger instead of 'PowerApps'

2\Set the users as the run-only users

3\Make all run-only users to use the specific connection
