Convert form selections to internally used acronyms (vlookup?) when adding responses to Excel table

Hi there

I’m wondering if it is possible to do the equivalent of a VLOOKUP in Flow when a response is submitted.


As part of a registration form, we want to know which campus and college a student is affiliated to, however, in our internal database we would like to have the acromymns rather than the full names the student selects from

These are our questions we asked the student which we would like to convert

Please select your campus:

  • Melbourne
  • Singapore

Please select you College:

  • Business and Law
  • Science, Engineering and Health
  • Arts and Humanities

I’ve created a table in the same Excel file which these form responses are to be recorded

Is there a Flow I can build where when a form is selected it does a ‘VLOOKUP’ and adds the flow terminology to the column in our registration database instead?
