Convert true value to Yes using variables

Hello!

Hoping someone can help me with a formula - I want to convert a trigger value that returns a true or false to a Yes or No instead using variables (reason for this is I can't use true as my Switch input!)

This is where I'm at - at the set variable I want to do something like this:

if(variables('ExternalSharing') equals true,"Yes", "No")

I know the context part at the equals and true are wrong but tried a lot of variations and can't get it to work!

Any help greatly appreciated!
