Copy Content from Excel to Excel (Dynamic)

Hello together,

I plan to copy some tables and rows from an Excel-File to another Excel-File which should be empty (template). This should happen one time per year. After successfully copying the data, the target-Excel-File should be renamed with the actual year at the ending of the file name.

I need to do this dynamic (the target file changes the name every year (final_file_2020.xlsx, final_file_2021.xlsx,...)

I haven't found any possibility to realise my plan.

Attached is a small view how it looks at the moment.

Hi @breater

there is no excel action that allows you to rename the excel file but I can see that you are storing the excel in one drive. You can get the file using the one drive actions and rename that file (as one drive for business has that action to rename a file). You can also get the file content and create a new file with the desired filename and delete the previous file for such a scenario.

Hope this Helps!
